Meet the Owners
Christen Hanson
Christen attended Purdue University and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree, majoring in
Interior Design.
For nearly 15 years, Christen has bartended and managed bar services for everything from small intimate events to high volume cocktail bars, both on and off-site. Christen still loves any excuse to bring out her artistic & creative skills, so customizing a bar menu, sign, or cocktail is one of her favorite things to do! When she’s not working with clients or serving drinks at events, she enjoys spending time with her husband (a Marine Corps Vet) and three dogs, traveling, and hiking!
Kim Curtis
Kim, Christen's sister, is a licensed esthetician and owner of Bliss Body Bar Spa in Jacksonville. While she mostly works behind the scenes as an up-and-coming entrepreneur, she has also been trained to meet the standards Sip & Tow holds for all of their bartending staff and you will see her working events from time-to-time. Kim, a long time resident of Eastern North Carolina, is a mom of three and constantly on the go. She enjoys country music festivals and cowboy boots.
